About The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID)

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID), formerly the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD), is an agency of the South African government responsible for investigating complaints against the South African Police Service and municipal police services.

The IPID was created in April 1997 as part of the post-apartheid reform of the South African Police. It investigates deaths in custody, crimes allegedly committed by police officers, violations of SAPS policy, and dissatisfaction with the service provided by the police.



How it works

First go to All Posts, Select a Post from the list. Once you've selected a Post you will be taken to a screen showing details of the Selected Post. Notice the Number of Views at 0, your goal is simply to take the number from 0 to 50 (current tagert). How? use the given buttons to copy and share the Selected Post link on your social media platforms. Each time a Post link you shared is clicked, the Number of Views Increases. When it reaches 50, the system will reward you with an airtime voucher.

NB. The target Number of Views changes and can sometimes go as low as 10.
